How to Get Started at RMSDF?

Getting1Don’t be intimidated by our program offerings. Krav Maga and Crossfit are intense workouts, but success can be achieved by any level. Our goal is to help you become the best YOU can be.

CrossFit and Krav Maga workouts can show you new physical and emotional sides you did not know you had. Our coaches are there to guide you through every step of the way. The coaching staff is training to teach you good form, encourage you and advise you about anything you are unsure about. That is our passion.

Our goal is to help you achieve new heights – physically and mentally.

We want all of our clients to be safe at all times. OUR focus is on safety and preparing you for CrossFit or Krav Maga classes, which can be intense. Our aim is to equip you to handle the load and intensity of Crossfit. For the Krav Maga student we need to give you the basic foundation required to do higher level drills of Krav Maga.

Therefore we have adopted this procedure to get you off to a safe, comfortable start at Rocky Mountain Self Defense & Fitness.

Step 1: Schedule An Intro Class

**We offer a variety of intro/beginner classes throughout the week. Contact us if you are unable to make our scheduled Intro classes. We have other time slots not posted**

Step 2:

Now that you have decided that Crossfit and/or Krav Maga are for you, RMSDF-142and you’ve decided to become a member of our athletic community, start attending classes.

CrossFit – You will attend 1-3 months of Intro level crossfit depending on your fitness level. You will be learning the basic weightlifting, running, rowing, gymnastic movements of Crossfit like proper push up, squat & pull up form. You will also be learning goal setting, nutrition, mobility, flexibility, and injury prevention.

Krav Maga – You will be taken through Krav Maga Levels 1 & 2 approximately 3-6 months each.

Where you will learn the fundamentals of Krav Maga.

  1. Basic punches & kicks
  2. Basic stand up and ground defenses
  3. How to be a good / safe training partner
  4. Principles of Krav Maga

We offer personal training sessions from 15 to 60 minutes.

We do team building sessions catered to your group. 1 hr to full day events
