Women’s Krav Maga and self-defense training in Castle Rock at RMSDF

Women Training at RMSDF

Women at RMSDF train inside our regular Krav Maga and self-defense program, not in a watered-down version of training. Classes are structured, respectful, beginner-friendly, and coached with safety in mind.

This gives women more schedule options and the ability to safely train with a variety of partners — including larger and stronger partners when appropriate.

What We Actually Train

  • Decision-making first: awareness, boundaries, and knowing when to act.
  • Simple, repeatable skills: built through reps, not hype.
  • Realistic context: confined spaces, grabs, pressure, resistance, and hesitation.
  • Safe partner training: controlled, coached, and matched appropriately.

Why Integrated Training Matters

Real-world self-defense may involve larger opponents, strength differences, male attackers, and unexpected resistance. That does not mean training should be reckless.

At RMSDF, partner work is instructor-guided and matched based on experience, comfort level, size, intensity, and safety.

Confidence does not come from avoiding reality. It comes from preparing for it safely, progressively, and consistently.

What to Expect

  • Coached drills — you will not be thrown into chaos
  • Foundations: stance, movement, striking basics, and escapes
  • Self-defense focus: common attacks and situations women may face in real life
  • Progressive pressure: intensity increases only as skill and confidence build
  • Confidence through preparation — not pep talks
